"My Miche’ “ Linda Alston stops by Wait A Gam Minute Studio to talk about her daughter Miche’ who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called
Epithelioid Sarcoma(soft tissue cancer)at the tender age of 16. While playing basketball outside barefoot a piece of glass lodge in her toe. After being misdiagnosed several times she was later informed that she has Epithelioid Sarcoma and 5-7 year life expectancy. No matter the doctor’s report Miche’ and her family kept their faith in God. Linda stated that “Miche’ knew without a doubt what and who God was to her and she never carried doubt when it came to her situation. While going through her treatments, doctor’s appointments and etc. she graduated from VSU. Miche’ later (2013)became pregnant and felt that her daughter was “God’s miracle and her blessing”. This rare form of cancer had no treatment plan as well as it was a terminal cancer. Linda stated that “she went to God all the time to let her take that burden for her daughter”.
