LIONS SQUAD SHOW: SLOPPY! Detroit Lions LOSE To Minnesota Vikings, Commit Season-High In Penalties

Detroit Lions lose to Minnesota Vikings 27-24. Sam LaPorta had a big day receiving including 6 receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown, but other than LaPorta’s big day, Detroit Lions offense was held in check by the Minnesota Vikings defense. JJ McCarthy threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as the former University of Michigan quarterback helped lead his team to a big road win. 

Locked On Lions Squad Show: Jake Riepma, Natalie Kerwin, & Bradford Banta.

Bradford Banta is an 11-year NFL veteran who went on to coach for 11 years in the NFL. A Graduate and 3 1/2-year starter at TE for the University of Southern California, Bradford’s 11-year NFL playing career included stops with the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, Detroit Lions, and Buffalo Bills.

Banta’s 11-year NFL coaching career primarily on Special Teams and

defense included time with the Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins, and New Orleans Saints.

Bradford also brings a resume with 5-years of College coaching career primarily on Special Teams and offense with Tennessee-Chattanooga and the University of Michigan.

Natalie Kerwin is a sports broadcaster and host with FanDuel Sports Network. Kerwin hosts the pre & postgame shows for the Detroit Pistons official team broadcasts as well as sideline reporting with the network. A graduate of Michigan State University, Kerwin is a Michigan girl through-and-through and the definition of a Detroit Sports fanatic! 

Jake Riepma is a sports talk radio host and on-air personality formerly with 97.1 The Ticket – the flagship radio station for the Detroit Lions. Riepma formerly held roles on the Detroit Lions postgame show as well as other hosting roles with the Detroit Red Wings, Pistons & Tigers on the radio side of things before accepting a hosting role with 105.3 The Fan in Dallas.
