King Gene | VP of UFC | “Understanding the Game” | S3 EP 6

We have Gene Tinner Jr Vice President of Event Marketing & Ticketing for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). One of the sports that was 1st back to action while we where all on lock down due to Covid. From fight island in Abu Dhabi to great fight cards almost every week, let’s just say he has been a little busy. We have been waiting for this and excited to get him on.

King Gene shares with us how it all started in H-town with a very supportive family and that he had no choice but to be in sports at an early age. His family foundation shines thought many decisions he has made like going to Southern University (SU). That decision made his Mom & Grandfather proud as that was their alma mater. Thinking he was going to work in government as Gene wants to change the world, that took a quick turn once his older cousin showed him how to navigate the sports world. With that insight as well as family support Gene has taking off working in various leagues, roles and has his sites set on being a team president.
