Key witness Pat Cipollone agrees to testify to January 6 Committee

The January 6 Committee reaches a deal with Trump’s former White House counsel Pat Cipollone to testify on Friday, in a transcribed, videotaped interview behind closed doors. Rep. Adam Schiff says the next hearing will focus on “efforts to assemble the mob on the mall” and connections between the Trump White House and various extremist groups at the rally that preceded the attack on the US Capitol.
