Taking Inventory: “Wins, Lessons, and What’s Next” | Our 2025 Recap podcast
Welcome back to the Club!! This week the hosts talk about their first live show at the Indiana Black Expo. The original audio from the show was lost so they are sharing their experience along with some of the talking points from the show. They were inspired by IBE’s theme this year which was celebrating “Our Culture, Our Influence, and Our Legacy”. The ladies lead a conversation around the incredible intersections of art, literature, and fashion within the black community. They believe the culture is a tapestry of vibrant colors, including rich stories, and expressive fashion that have influenced the entire world. Tune in to hear more on what they had to say this week!!
Dedication: Moni: To our patrons and supporters, thank you as always. To all the black creatives, artists, storytellers known and unknown for inspiring us and sharing your gifts with the world. Art has the potential to create meaningful changes in our world so thank you! Also, thanks to the IBE, BOXX the Artist, and all the other artists & staff who worked to make the event a success. Kat: To her lovely daughter who is now officially a teen and Barbie and her undeniable influence on our lives.

Show Notes: About IBE: “ As a pillar of the Indiana community for more than 52 years, IBE has encouraged and empowered individuals through education, events, and hands-on initiatives. The organization has continued to evolve its programming to find new ways to proactively address the most relevant issues and contribute to positive change. This is just the beginning.”
