I AM TRUSTING GOD: A Guided Meditation Podcast with Affirmations from the Bible by BWFwoman

Ep 8: The Bible shares that the steps of a good man are ordered by God, but it's possible to miss God’s timing because of simply not trusting God to do what He said He was going to do.

Why is this? As you begin to trust God and recognize His provision in your life, the enemy will do his best to provide counter direction and counter provision.  This simply happens because anytime you take a step deeper into God, it frustrates the enemy and he tries to get you to reverse your direction.  He wants to cause confusion, he wants you to overthink things until you become so indecisive that you never move forward and he wants your life to be purposeless.  This counter-direction can show up in your life through advice from someone who does not have God’s wisdom or through your own desires being so strong that they outweigh your commitment to God’s desires for you, and more.

But once again, thank God for being God!  He has promised in His word to provide a way of escape, and give you power to win, so that you will always have reason to believe God’s timing and His report for your life. Remember…

1.  You are designed to WIN:  The Word says that “we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus” Romans 8:37

2.  You will always have an option to NOT follow the enemy’s direction: “And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

3.  God will give you wisdom so you can discern the right advice: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God…” James 1:5

Beautiful, God is on YOUR side.  Think about that.  Now, walk through your day today like you know that you have the Creator of the Universe walking with you…because you do. You can trust God.
