The HMP crew is back after taking the “Fête Turkey” holiday off. The pod started with the crew reaping their time off and congratulating Leona on not one, but two huge accomplishments! Then, they discussed the Soup Joumou recipe that had the Haitian community outraged. The conversation took a bit of a serious turn as the crew touched on the effect of “The Grind” mindset in our community and how we can put pride aside and ask for help when in need. Furthermore, they discussed the current praises and critics received by Miss Universe Haiti 2020, Eden Berabdoive. Lastly, the podcast ends with a few tracks from Konkou Chanté Nwèl in Haiti to give you all the holiday feels. We truly hope you enjoy this episode and share it with a Haitian Millennial!
