Living godly lives involves depending not on ourselves, but on God and His wisdom, love, and goodness. When we decide to trust God in every area, we receive the humility and godly maturity to acknowledge that He is responsible for everything good that happens to us. The believer cannot truthfully say he is living godly until he humbly admits that he needs God, and accepts His grace.
