Gaslighting is a term we often hear, but would you know when and if it was happening to you? ??For those who don’t know what gaslighting is, it’s when someone tries to convince you that something they said or did never occurred. The gaslighter denies the reality of what you know happened, then makes you question yourself and what you know to be true.?? My guest today whom we’ll call Wende (that’s not her real name) was gaslighted throughout her nine year relationship, so she never really knew for sure if her partner cheated on her. I have my own point of view as to whether or not Wende’s partner cheated, but I’ll let you listen and decide what you think was really going on behind all that gaslighting.?? It will amaze you to learn what Wende’s job is. It reminded me that love can sometimes obscure the most obvious of truths.
