The D.L. Hughley Show kicked off with a troubling story about The Bear writer Alex O’Keefe, who was detained by police on the New York City subway after a white passenger complained about the way he was sitting. O’Keefe, who recorded the incident, said he was targeted simply for being Black, highlighting ongoing racial profiling in public spaces. The Question of the Day comes from a viral debate over artificial intelligence in the music industry after reports that an AI-generated artist, Zania Monét, landed a multimillion-dollar deal. While some argue it’s the future of entertainment, others—including artists like Kehlani—call it unfair to human performers who rely on their craft to make a living.

Dr. Darnyelle Harmon then joined the show to discuss her new book, Move to Millions, where she explained how entrepreneurs can build wealth with “grace and ease” instead of constant hustle. And Jasmine Sanders closed things out with her “Top 5” list, spotlighting the clearest signs that someone’s workaholic habits have gone too far—from refusing to put down the phone to working through vacations.
