In this episode of The D.L. Hughley Show Podcast, D.L. and the crew congratulate Sha’Carri Richardson for winning the silver medal in the Olympics for the Women’s 100 M. She came in second to St. Lucian runner Julian Alfred. There is some controversy surrounding Richardson’s race because she was denied entry into the stadium initially due to a new rule. So, Richardson along with another runner had to walk an hour to another entrance and could not practice before the race.  

The Question of the Day stems from VP Kamala Harris picking her running mate for the 2024 presidential election. Harris chose Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. The Question of the Day is was this the right choice. Also, Wall Street closed on Monday in a frenzy, as the Dow Jons had its worst day on almost two years.
