His dedication to running marathons began as a way to manage stress and align his mind, body, and spirit, especially after he ventured into entrepreneurship.

Carlos emphasized the importance of pushing through mental and physical barriers, a concept he applies both in his athletic pursuits and business endeavors. He shared how his journey in entrepreneurship started with a swimming and safety company, which he built from a hobby into a full-fledged business. Despite facing significant challenges, including being evicted and living out of his car, Carlos persevered and learned valuable lessons about managing stress and maintaining consistency.
