Since the inception of Hip-Hop in Boston, there has always been a naturally close relationship with NYC, given it's the birthplace of Rap music and its the next major city a few hours away. Over the years certain relationships from NY grew closer, specifically from the Dipset camp and in this case it's an olive branch from Jim Jones's Vamp Life/Byrdgang crew who signed Boston's own Fat Flee!
While undergoing a name change within recent years, one may think Fat Flee's musical resume isn't that long but if you look up his former name "Nucklez" you'll soon learn he is no new-comer to this game. With a tenure in music of over 10 years and working closely with other hometown staples like Lou Armstrong, Nyce Franklyn, and Star-Gang's former leading name Moufy, it's safe to say that the Boston born/NYC raised artist is here to stay and not playing around. Within just the past year he's dropped an array of singles and even featured on Millyz's hit "Drive Thru". This week we were fortunate enough to have a sit down with the "Credibility" artist and talk about his music career, his name change, his relationship with Jim Jones, and he even mentioned some old issues he had with a former artist. WE ALSO HAD A VERY MEMORABLE #RedCupsAndRap freestlye from Fat Flee to wrap the whole conversation up. YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS ONE!
BE SURE TO CHECK OUT FAT FLEE's MUSIC AVAILABLE ON ALL DSPs!
