This week we were bestowed the honor and privilege to sit down and discuss one of the most dominant and talented Women’s Basketball Team ever assembled. The 1983 USC Lady Trojans led by Cheryl Miller, Cynthia Cooper, Paula and Pam McGee, Juliette Robinson and our guest Dr Rhonda Windham. Dr Windham and her teammates will be featured in the up coming HBO Sports Documentary: Women of Troy.
Not only were they National Champions in 83 & 84 , they revolutionized the way Women’s basketball should be viewed in a context that challenged the status quo that the College Mens Basketball was more uptempo and free flowing and professionally performed.
On our podcast Dr Windham brings to light the camaraderie and a more in-depth perspective of how their experience under Linda Sharp would shape their futures and ours.
A powerful cant miss interview we bring to you in a New York Minute
