Pastor Calls Out Trump’s $250M White House Ballroom During a Shutdown | S4 Ep.7 podcast
*Recorded July 9, 2020
This week we have 3 guests who are all very involved in the Hip Hop scene in Boston and also work very close with each other. Join Charlie MaSheen as he welcomes rapper Brandie Blaze, the multitalented Amanda Shea, and DJ WhySham to the show for the first time. Brandie Blaze is a lyricist known for her high energy and her raw, raunchy, and risky content. Her latest effort, "Late Bloomer" solidified her position in the scene as one of the premier MCs and someone any true hip hop fan should be checking for. Charlie MaSheen went as far as calling her "The female Billy Danze" because of the low vocal range she can tap into while giving you larger than life energy on a record.
Amanda Shea, who is Brandie Blaze's PR agent, is also a premier poet/spoken word artist who has made a name for herself in the scene with her very touching and candid pieces. No stranger to podcasts/radio, since she's hosted herself and also has done many drops on the ItsLitBoston Podcast. Amanda talks about how she originally came to Boston , how she linked with Brandie, whats coming next for her, and more!
DJ WhySham, who is Brandie Blaze's official DJ, gave her take on what she wants to be able to do for the Boston/MA music scene and how she plans on doing it! She says she wants to become the "DJ Khaled" of Boston, which are huge shoes to fill, but we have a lot of faith in these 3 dynamic artists. WhySham also shares a projected date for an album she's working on with some big names from the market.
We shared a lot of laughs with these ladies and also touched on serious topics like the #LGBTQ rap scene in MA, and some past comments made by Chizz, which were insensitive and ignorant to the LGBTQ community. This will definitely be a favorite for many, as it was for us, and we're rooting for these artists every step of the way!
Be sure to check out all of Brandie Blaze's projects, including "Late Bloomer" which is available on all streaming platforms!
