How to Avoid Distractions While at the Pitstop
There is so much noise in our world today. Taking a moment to spend time in a pitstop is viewed as being lazy. Our society does not appreciate the importance of a pitstop.
1st Kings 19:5-8 tells us about Elijah’s pitstop. Elijah was hiding from Jezebel. An angel woke him up in his pitstop and instructed him to get up and eat. After eating, he fell asleep again. The angel woke him up again to eat and drink. The Lord was preparing Elijah for what was ahead of him. After eating and drinking, Elijah traveled for 40 days and 40 days to get to Mount Horeb.
From Elijah’s experience, it is easy to think he was a coward; thus, he decided to run away from Jezebel. The truth is, he needed time in his pitstop to be strengthened for what was ahead of him.
Have you ever been in your pitstop, and someone labeled you lazy? It happens because we are in a world that is all about grinding all the time. Do not let the noise around you keep you from taking time to refuel, remember, and rejuvenate.
In this episode, we will look at the distractions we experience in our pitstops and how we can avoid them. Listen in, learn, and get inspired.
