On this episode of @unspoknkonversation we were joined by Grammy nominated/legendary producer Mr.Lee ( @MrLee713) (18:24). We were able to discuss his upbringing in Louisiana in a family of innovation and religion. His wild story that assisted in him migrating to Houston,Texas to start his career in music is one for the ages. (28:00) One of the main things he shared his vast knowledge on publishing and ownership in the music industry and content as whole and taking full advantage of every angle of the business. (32:27). Mr.Lee described the difference in his experiences in working in film and expanding his portfolio as a creatuve ( Most recently known for his work with Nipsey Hussle (produced Blue Laces 1 & 2) he talked on the bond they shared outside of music and gave us an inside story of their initial encounter and the last conversation they had a few days before his death. He gave us the story of he and Nipsey Hussle’s first studio experience and how it birth Blue Laces. Mr. Lee gave his first hand perspective on the differences between Tupac’s and Nipsey Hussle’s style of creating (36:50).The gems were plentiful this episode and we got a major exclusive, more Nipsey on the way?!
