Guess who’s bizack!!! On our return to the lab we discussed the climate of the world during Covid and navigating through the madness. We also touched on police brutality in the wake of the Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and most recently Rashard Brooks murders at the hands of police and the impact protesting and the BLM movement as a whole will have on systemic racism and race relations as a whole. While Father’s Day is upon us we corresponded on the impact of the presence and absence of Black fathers as a whole in our communities. Last but certainly least, a pseudo therapy session was had on the stress of the vast disconnect we’ve seen between Black men and women, how we’ve personally impacted that and how we can do better as a whole.
