EP. 77: don’t take anything [personally]

I’ve been a lover of the Four Agreements for a while but as I’m starting over and auditing my life figuring out where I went wrong and understanding how I overcommitted myself and was consistently creating a sturdy case for burnout … I had to go back and ask myself what did i miss and did I really integrate the principles entirely? Yes we change often but we aren’t just talking about a mistake we are talking bankruptcy. So far gone the only option is to burn it down and start over. So why was I so overcommited? Was I taking what other people had going on in their life more personal than I thought? And why was what I actually needed not personal enough?
