Colorado’s 42-6 loss to Oregon on Saturday would have been a great opportunity to slow the horses on the runaway Coach Prime bandwagon. But for Deion’s defenders in the media, it was time to go on offense. Look no farther than Fox Sports’ “Undisputed” for your Prime Time propaganda. Former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson stunned the audience with a claim that coaches from other schools were helping Dan Lanning and Oregon game-plan against Deion. The eldest statesman of the show, Skip Bayless, flipped out over Dan Lanning’s pregame and halftime speeches and play-calling, ordaining them “venomous vengeance.” Not to be outdone, ESPN’s Ryan Clark took to the airwaves to underscore the character of Deion Sanders, branding him as a selfless coach who only peddles positivity, unlike the Ducks’ Lanning. Maybe all the media messaging wouldn’t be so overwhelming if those priming the news cycle didn’t suffer from the same hubris disorder as Deion. Jason welcomes Steve Kim to discuss Clark, Keyshawn, and Skip’s meltdown. Coach Jason Brown of “Last Chance U” drops by to discuss the Deion doubt and how Notre Dame’s Marcus Freeman blew the most crucial moment against Ohio State. Plus, Royce White visits “Fearless” to go one-on-one with Whitlock over Coach Prime.
