Charessa Sawyer is the Founder and CEO of Charge Up Campaign, an Atlanta-based 501(c)3 that celebrates Cancer survivors, caregivers, support organizations and Oncology medical professionals. The organization was created as a testament to Charessa and her experience of being a caregiver for her mother, a breast cancer survivor. Charessa says through this experience, she realized the importance of celebrating the survivor and not the patient in order to provide a more positive prognosis. Charge Up Campaign has ongoing programs and initiatives such as: Charge Up Cares, Charge Up Self Care Kits, Survivors Conference and the Pink Champagne Gala.
