WHO IS DR. CARLINE CREVECOEUR?

Dr. Carline Crevecoeur is a Haitian- American retired board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. After several years of medical service in New York and Pennsylvania, Dr. Crevecoeur gave up her career to raise and homeschool her five African American children. Her homeschool journey is told in her new memoir: Pressure Makes Diamonds: From Homeschooling to the Ivy League – A Parenting Story.

Carline tells an honest story about educating her children while dealing with racism, Haiti’s 2010 earthquake, and her battle with stage IV colon cancer.
