DLHS Hour 1 | Writer of “The Bear” Detained by Police for Being Black on Subway 

The Bear writer Alex O’Keefe, who was detained by police on the New York City subway after a white passenger complained about the way he was sitting. O’Keefe, who recorded the incident, said he was targeted simply for being Black, highlighting ongoing racial profiling in public spaces.
