Esosa is the Founder and CEO of Onyx Impact, a Georgia-based organization created to better understand and combat adverse messaging in Black communities and increase Black civic engagement. She is a disinformation expert who focuses on the specific kind of disinformation that seeks to diminish civic participation of Americans, especially Black Americans. Onyx Impact seeks to better serve and empower Black communities by exposing and mitigating the harmful external information ecosystems targeting them. She has years of experience fighting disinformation in elections, with her work being crucial to Georgia during the campaigns of Senator Raphael Warnock and Stacey Abrams. Esosa and Onyx Impact have been featured in NBC News, The Hill, WABE, The Grio, Newsweek, and more.
