Jacqueline Woodson writes books to be savored. She is best known for her memoir “Brown Girl Dreaming” along with her works “After Tupac and D Foster,” “Feathers” and “Show Way.” Her accolades include the MacArthur “Genius Grant” and the National Book Award.
