Maybe they started crying in the store when they found out that they weren’t going to get that toy they wanted even though they really really wanted it. All of these reactions are signs of our little ones experiencing disappointment. While we know our instinct is to get frustrated with them or just tell them “those the breaks” that doesn’t really do anything to help our children process it. Today, Charisse helps walk us through the warning signs of disappointment and what we can do to help regulate our children as they experience it.
