Guiding Scripture: Acts 13:8-10 ‘Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? But Elymas, the sorcerer (for that is what his name means), opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith. ‘

Elymas (or Bar-Jesus) wanted to turn people away from Christ and the Gospel. Paul as a leader and being filled with the Holy Spirit, stopped the weapon of deceit.
I encourage you to meditate and study today’s passages and ask God to help you identify the trickery happening in your midst. Remember, the Holy Spirit will go before you and give you the words to say. Our responsibility is to be faithfully open to His divine wisdom.
There are times when we immediately recognize the loudness and how wrong things are. Yet, that doesn’t stop the enemy from his manipulative ways. As Christ-followers, we are responsible for those He has entrusted to be in our ecosystem. The imitators should be unmistakable from their fruit; do they create harmony or promote division?
It may be time to take a closer look at ourselves and then those who impact our lives.
