Guiding Scripture: Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
Why is witnessing so hard? We make so many excuses about how we should do it or why we can’t do it. In my life, the pendulum has swung to the extremes. Feeling like I either have to be in the public square holding signs and preaching to the passerby or sitting passively and just letting my little light shine for Jesus. I remember vividly one day asking for the power of the Holy Spirit to help me evangelize the gospel and then being afraid that He was going to send me to some street corner with a sign.
