Proverbs 3:1-6 reveals God’s promises and responsibilities for believers. God is good, and he loves us. However, only our response to his love- keeping his commandments (John 14:15) guarantees access to the promises.
To experience peace, prosperity and prolong our days, we must keep God’s commands in our heart. Let’s apply this truth to something practical like our health: If we forget God’s word concerning gluttony (Proverbs 23:19-21) we will overeat or excessively consume foods and the lack of peace in our bodies is one of the consequences.
