Purchase Book – Beyond the Cosmic Edge

Bio
Born on May 12, 1984, in a small village in Russia, surrounded by the untamed beauty of nature, the youngest of three siblings grew up immersed in a world of imagination. With a mother dedicated to nursing and a father working in the agricultural sector, a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for human connection were instilled early on. However, it was the vast fields and whispering forests that left the deepest imprint, serving as both playground and muse. With few children of the same age nearby, storytelling became a refuge—crafted from dreams, nature, and a boundless sense of adventure.Moving to the city for school opened new doors, uncovering a passion for literature, Buddhism, and psychology. Studying English and German further deepened an understanding of human nature, enriching a growing ability to create layered, compelling characters. The love of storytelling evolved into a desire to bring those narratives to life on screen, leading to an entry into the film industry. The journey began humbly—working as a talent assistant, fetching tea and coffee—while closely observing the intricate process of filmmaking. Every small task became an opportunity to absorb knowledge, watching how costumes, lighting, props, and camera work blended to create cinematic magic. Progressing through various roles, the ability to understand people—their emotions, motivations, and dreams—became the strongest asset. Eventually, working as a second assistant director provided an even deeper insight into the art of storytelling, refining skills in pacing, conflict, and resolution.Despite gaining experience, the ambition to create personal stories grew stronger, leading to the bold decision to move to Hollywood. Initial struggles made the journey difficult—taking on various jobs like babysitting, dishwashing, and assisting in different companies—while the passion for filmmaking remained unwavering. Visits to film sets and theaters served as a reminder of where true belonging lay: within the heart of storytelling.Returning to writing, old manuscripts filled with ideas reignited inspiration. One concept, born from a friend’s fear of joining a street dance community, stood out. It led to the creation of Fear as a character—one that danced alongside her, embodying internal struggles. This idea transformed into a short film, later shared with producer Mark Buntzman, whose belief in the project was a pivotal moment. Conversations over tea with Mark and his wife, Jenya, centered on overcoming fears, shaping not only the work but the entire storytelling approach.Fueled by this support, the concept expanded into an entire universe, culminating in a completed book. Years of refinement followed, including edits and cover design, all while continuing to build the story into a film and series concept alongside a husband and creative partner. The second and third parts of the story took shape, solidifying the vision. In 2024, with the arrival of a child, work briefly slowed but never stopped. Now, with renewed focus, preparations are underway to launch the campaign for the first book, with full confidence that the story will one day make its way to the big screen. Through the power of storytelling, the journey continues—one of adventure, courage, and the unwavering pursuit of turning imagination into reality.
