Bio

Toni M. Mir is a music composer nominated for a Goya in 2020. His pieces include soundtracks for movies, documentaries, commercials and television series.

Due to his many creative accomplishments, he is now a celebrated member of the European Film Academy, the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences, and the Catalan Film Academy.

His passion for music was revealed in his early childhood, when he started playing and discovering harmony through an old piano in the family house.  This playful way of learning has defined his very own style, striving to create a singular language, leaving academic standards behind.

Composing, for him, is a way to translate stories into feelings, and to infuse fictional universes with a touch of color and emotion that can only be achieved through music.

Toni is the soul and founder of Trafalgar 13 Music House(2004), an independent music lab situated in the heart of Barcelona, Spain -now with a branch office in Los Angeles-, home to numerous original soundtracks for award-winning films along with commercial melodies for prestigious brands.
