This film is a passion project from Eddie Murphy top to bottom and thats not a bad thing. The movie is like a high school reunion in that you’re there for the nostalgia and seeing what everyone is up to and that is why the movie works. While it won’t live up to the highest of highs like the original film, its overall a good companion piece to it.
