In the first half of today's show, we discuss some foods typically associated with Black Americans–specifically watermelon. There is a sad and well-documented history of prejudice and anti-Black sentiment associated with the food that still finds its way into Black life today. We share some examples of this in hopes of preventing some social faux pas!
