In a special bonus episode, the crew takes time out to memorialize a fallen legend. Earl Simmons bka DMX, who passed away at the age of 50 after being in a vegetative state after a heart attack. He was a transcendent emcee and artist that ushered hip-hop back into the streets who became the first artist in history to have his first five albums all reach No.1 on the Billboard 200.
He would later craft a countless number of hits for the club and the streets with a unique personality and live performances not seen before in hip-hop. He also starred in a number of movies and became a pop culture icon. He was a rarity in an age where authenticity was small supply, revealing his flaws, demons and vulnerability to his fans and the world. He would boast a spirituality that would unite fans, but dealt with mental health issues, drug addiction and recurring legal problems. The crew remembers his career and legacy of not just the emcee, but the man.
