Hey, Goddesses! Ready for Part 2?
Today’s episode is a continuation of Episode 68, and this time we will talk about what it means to be a goddess and how this resembles your own purpose in life as a black woman.
But first of all, how often do we greet each other with the term goddess? I know it’s a word that we usually shy away from because it’s often used to describe someone with high virtues, power, and divinity.
However, the definition of a goddess represents a purpose, a meaning, and a symbol that brings out its divine power. With that said, finding your own purpose by allowing your true self to be unchained from society's stigma can unleash the divine goddess within you.
Our connection with the term goddess may in some ways be foreign to us as black women due to the role that religion plays in our culture. Often this stifles our personal growth and hinders us from discovering a deeper relationship with God for ourselves not through the lens of man-made religion. Stepping into our goddess self does not in any way contradict, disrupt or blur your belief in God. In fact, fulfilling our true purpose is the reason that created each of us.
A “goddess” is not limited to man-made definitions. She is free to create and define herself for herself. So have the freedom to find your own meaning of the term “goddess” and be comfortable calling yourself one!
Listen to Episode 69 as I continue to share the stage with these successful black female leaders, entrepreneurs, and goddesses who co-authored the The Unchained Goddess with me. We talk about our own definitions of a goddess and how unfamiliar this is to the black community. Also, learn what is the meaning of goddess power and how you can wield it to your purpose in life.
Be inspired to awaken the goddess within you to live your most opulent life!
