Asking For a Friend | Why Can’t We Go to Church

Paris needs some help, so she is Asking For a Friend. She has been going to the same church since high school. Her pastor is the man that led her to God but he recently dropped a bombshell on the congregation. Paris’s married pastor with children has come out of the closet and said he is gay. Now Paris’s husband no longer wants to go back to church. Paris has offered to go to other churches but he has turned that down. He has said that how can he go to church and the pastor is lying. He has even told Paris that she needs to rethink her commitment with God. Paris is now thrown for a loop because she married him because they shared a love of God and now she does not know what to do.
