Asking For a Friend | Joint Accounts and Prenups

On Asking for a Friend, we have a voicemail from Catherine. She is engaged and she is getting married. In marriage counseling, her fiancé said that they should only have one joint bank account. Catherine thinks they should have a joint account for the household but she thinks that they should have their own bank account. Her fiancé also stated that he wanted a prenup. She loves him, but he’s a manager at WaWa. Catherine does not think that he is ready for marriage but she does not want to end their relationship.
