Asking For a Friend | Dad Jealous of Four Year Old Son

Today, we have a DM from a father on Asking for a Friend. He has an issue with his son being really close with his wife. The son snuggles with his mother, sleeps in the bed with his mother and the father admittedly is a little jealous. The father also thinks that all of this cuddling and stuff is making his son soft. The boy is now four and the father thinks it is time for all of this to stop. He told his wife and she said why would she stop doing that with her son. He loves it and so does the mother. Now the wife is giving the husband the silent treatment and he does not know what to do. Kyle, being a father, said he does understand but the boy is only four. The father is taking it a little too far. Yes you need your space in your bed but why can’t the boy cuddle with his mom.
