About the guest
Mixing the world of sports history with sewing, embroidering, and screen printing since 2007, This Sporting Life is the creation of Baltimore-born artist and maker, Arvay Adams.
After graduating from MICA, with a degree in painting, Arvay lived in both New York and Los Angeles for almost two decades. It was in these two inspirational cities, that Arvay began to transition his work more to researching, and making history-inspired sporting goods. Arvay now calls Baltimore home, he continues to be inspired by all things sports, and is constantly producing new works.
