“Are You Jealous Because I’m Generous?” – CONFRONTING ENVY

Today, we’re diving deep into a feeling many of us know all too well: Envy.

In this first episode of the show, I’ll confront my personal struggles with comparing myself to others and the bitterness that can arise from it.

Join me as I reflect on my past experiences, particularly my intense envy towards a talented friend from my childhood. We’ll explore the roots of envy through the lens of Scripture, contrasting our feelings with the truth found in God’s Word.

Together, we’ll unpack the dangers of envy, as highlighted in James 3, and challenge our perspectives with Jesus’ parables in Matthew. As I share my journey of healing, I hope to inspire you to reflect on your own thought patterns and recognize how we can find joy and gratitude in the midst of our struggles.
