Solo Episode 125…
This week on Let’s Try This Again, B. Simone is talking about MOTHER WOUNDS—and this conversation isn’t about blaming, bashing, or pointing fingers at the women who raised us. It’s about healing.
B. Simone opens up about forgiving her mother and stepmother for pain she experienced in childhood, and how forgiveness unlocked so much freedom in her life. Forgiveness didn’t mean what happened was okay. It meant she decided she didn’t want to carry it anymore.
Many of our mothers were raising us while still trying to figure out life themselves. Before they were our mothers, they were little girls with their own wounds, trauma, and stories.
This episode is about learning how to hold two truths at once: what happened to you may have been wrong, AND you can have grace for the woman who hurt you without excusing her behavior.
From forgiveness, healthy boundaries, mother wounds, and generational trauma, this conversation challenges women to heal what hurt them so they don’t pass that pain to the next generation.
Maybe the question isn’t just, “What did my mother do to me?”
Maybe it’s, “What am I going to do with what happened to me?” ❤️🩹
This one gets real. Enjoy and share !
