This episode is titled "When Dating Feels Like A Job Interview and I bring on Tyler to talk about this. In this episode we unpack how modern dating has turned into a checklist-driven job interview. From social media pressure to emotional résumés, many people feel the need to oversell themselves just to be considered worthy of love. But being “over-qualified” on paper doesn’t mean you’re emotionally ready for connection.

This episode explores how dating standards, past trauma, and fear of rejection push people to perform instead of be present. We talk about the difference between emotional credentials and emotional availability, why people chase partners they think they “should” want, and how trying to meet every requirement often leads to burnout, misalignment, and shallow connections.

At its core, Episode 2 challenges the idea that love should be earned through perfection. Real relationships aren’t built on resumes and checklists — they’re built on honesty, effort, and emotional readiness.
