In the weirdest of ways, Anaconda works somehow. Take the root idea of what ‘Be Kind, Rewind’ was and add in a bigger budget and you get this film. Its silly in all the right ways and wrong ways as well yet ends up sticking the landing how you expect it to go. A film thats not really a remake and its also a sequel to the original film at the same time. Given the actors in this film, you can see the jokes coming a mile away. End of the day its a silly movie with some earnest. Do with that what you will.
