The Men of Micheaux reminisce about their shared love of foundational anime staples of the 1970s, such as Star Blazers and Battle of the Planets. Then, after doing Six Degrees of D’Urvile to the legendary Lana Turner and the underused Juanita Moore, Vincent becomes perplexed by Len’s out-of-the-blue DVD-versus-SDJ comparison. Finally, the Men review the 1959 remake of a classic tale that exceeds its reach aesthetically if not culturally.
