EP 425: The Contract to My Polyamory (Ft. Jerrie Johnson)

This week Mandii & Weezy are joined by Jerrie Johnson of “Harlem” & “Survival of the Thickest”
as they explore the multifaceted world of relationships, from the evolving dynamics of polyamory
to the nuances of affection and connection in modern society. Things get serious as Jerrie
advocates for authentic LGBTQ+ representation in the media and opens up about entering a
polyamorous relationship at just 18 years old. After that, Jerrie gets into her definition of being a
“heaux” and tackles the feeling that affection in America can be transactional.
Jerrie also sheds light on how men sometimes misuse the term “polygamous lifestyle” and
emphasizes the importance of being resourceful and initiating open conversations about
polyamory, and evening having a poly-contract.
