God is setting up your showdown. This is a climactic moment where God proves His sovereignty.  

 

Touré Roberts built upon his teaching from last week, reminding us that a showdown isn’t merely conflict — it’s a decisive encounter where you stop wrestling with circumstances and start witnessing God’s power.  

 

In 1 Kings 17, we see that Elijah arrives fully mature, fully certified by heaven. And that authority came from radical consecration, radical obedience, and radical boldness. Elijah mastered God’s presence through worship. He set the Lord before him constantly, cultivating an intimate relationship that qualified him for his assignment.  

 

Then comes obedience. When God speaks, provision follows. The prophetic word Elijah spoke wasn’t optional; it was provisional. In whatever showdown you find yourself: Believe the Lord and you will prosper.
