It is Friday on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show Podcast. In this episode, there is some more sad news this week. The hip-hop community has taken another loss with the passing of Atlanta rapper, Rich Homie Quan. Quan, whose real name is Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was unresponsive at his home yesterday, 9/5/24. There has been no official cause of death released by the family, but it suspected that he overdosed on drugs. The RSMS crew sends their condolences to the family.
In other celebrity news, Dame Dash, former Roc-a-fella CEO, was IG Live issuing a challenge to rapper and film producer 50 Cent. Dash wants to engage in a content battle with 50 but while talking, the top row of his dentures fell out while speaking on IG Live. Also, Colt Gray, the fourteen-year-old who opened fire at Appalachia High School, appeared in court and has been charged with murder. He is being held without bond. His father has also been arrested for allowing his son to have access to the firearms used in the mass shooting. All of this and more on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show Podcast.
