Shake and Mash report on NY State Senate Bill S854A, which introduced the legalization of weed in NYC and all the benefits associated with it. Weed ain’t never did anything but be there for you.” After years of delayed attempts, state legislation is finally undoing damaging criminal justice laws that accomplished nothing but ruining black people’s lives. Also, establishing a dope ass program that will reinvest millions of tax dollars revenue back into minority communities negatively impacted by the decades-long war on drugs.
