Colorado bolts to the Big 12

After months and months of speculation in regards to whether Colorado would stay in the Pac-12, the program finally decided it was time to jump to the Big 12. Myself and 247Sports’ Adam Musterteiger break down the timeline for Colorado, and why this was the time that they opted to leave the Pac-12 for green pastures. For Colorado they asked the Pac-12 to provide a number, and that was something the conference couldn’t do prior to Pac-12 media day and with a deadline from the Big 12 it was a move that both me and Musterteiger reveal was necessary.

He also revealed the ongoing struggles that the program was having in the Pac-12, and why unstableness at head coach had been plaguing their recruiting and on the field performances.

We both explain that keeping everyone else in the conference is priority No. 1, and expansion has now surpassed media rights in terms of importance. Adding programs becomes much more of a priority now more than ever. Adam explains the difficulty road ahead for the Pac-12, and also explains what schools could be targeted.
