Deion Sanders could be more important than Nick Saban

The hiring of Deion Sanders could end up being one of the best moves that college football has ever seen. While we have yet to see him coach a game and we don’t know what his tenure will look like, the amount of attention, notoriety, and overall buzz he has generated for the program has been astronomical. So much so that former Colorado quarterback Joel Klatt has come out and said that he thinks the hiring was more important than Alabama’s hiring of Nick Saban. I break down why it partially makes sense, but why I also would like to pump the breaks a bit.

10:25 Sonny Dykes recently explained the challenges of preparing for Colorado ahead of their Week 1 matchup. I break down why I think Colorado has the element of surprise working in their favor, and how that provides an edge that not many are accounting for. I also explain how TCU will have to prepare for Colorado by using film from Alabama, Kent State, and Jackson State among others.

17:35 Lastly, I dive into a video of Deion Sanders yelling at the players for quitting on themselves during practice. I speculate why that is happening, and how difficult it may be for certain guys who thought they would have a larger role than what they have. I break down the fact that because there are so many roster changes it can be difficult, while also going over Shilo Sanders’ responses.
